Vitamin is great for mono-ing your bass frequencies and exciting high end It uses very little CPU and really makes tracks come alive. It has Neve, SSL, and EMI console drives that you can mix/match. NLS is a really good console drive/summing emulation. It's a dynamic EQ with sidechain and visualizer. I typically use it for more subtle sounds but it can get crazy too.į6 is absolutely amazing and really underrated. RVox (Renaissance Vox) is a classic compressor/gate with a really smooth sound, great for vocals
Here's my take on some more of the $30 ones: Chambers uses an insane amount of CPU so demo it first to see if your machine can handle it. Reel ADT and Abbey Road Chambers are both fantastic.
